Effective August 7, 2001.
On August 7, 2001, respondent pled guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Distribute 100 Kilograms or More of Marijuana in violation of 21 U.S.C. '' 846 and 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(C). In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of his felony conviction.
This matter has been assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
