1. Reprimand; 2. Effective April 13, 2001. On March 22, 2001, the hearing panel found that respondent had committed misconduct, specifically: That respondent failed to respond to successor attorneys' requests for a client's file; and to advise either the court or either of such attorneys that he could not deliver the file as he could not locate it. Respondent=s conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(1), (2), and (4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.16(d); 3.4(c) and 8.4(a) and (c).
The hearing panel issued an order of reprimand and costs were assessed in the amount of $186.75.
