Respondent was convicted on July 20, 2006 in the 18 th Circuit Court for the State of Illinois for felony indecent solicitation of a child, in violation of Illinois Compiled Statutes Chapter 720, Para 5/11-6(a). In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of his felony conviction.
The Grievance Administrator has filed a judgment of conviction and this matter has been assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
