NOTICE OF SUSPENSION AND PROBATION (By Consent)

Case No. 00-14-JC Notice Issued: March 2, 2001 Ronald J. Fabian, P-25726, Jackson, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Ingham County Hearing Panel #7.

1. Suspension - 179 days (with credit given for 152 days); 2. Probation - 2 Years; 3. Effective March 2, 2001. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and was accepted by the hearing panel. Based upon respondent=s conviction for criminal sexual conduct 4th degree, incapacitated victims [MCL 750.520e(1)(b)]; and providing alcohol to minors [MCL 436.1701(1) formerly MCL 436.33], the parties agreed that an order of suspension and probation with conditions should be entered.

The hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license be suspended for 179 days with credit given for 152 days served between September 28, 1998 and February 27, 1999. The panel further ordered that respondent be placed on probation for two years following his reinstatement to the practice of law, with conditions relative to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,525.82.
