Based on respondent=s felony conviction in the 7th Circuit Court of uttering and publishing forged records, in violation of MCL 750.249, the hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for three and one half years, retroactive to November 22, 2000, the date of respondent=s conviction.
The Grievance Administrator and respondent filed timely petitions for review and on May 27, 2003, the Attorney Discipline Board issued its order vacating the hearing panel=s order and increasing the discipline to a revocation of the respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,906.93.
