NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case Nos. 00-114-GA; 00-128-FA Issued: October 3, 2000 R. Christopher Bratschi, P-44423, Lansing, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Ingham County Hearing Panel #2.

Effective October 3, 2000.

Respondent failed to answer the formal complaint and failed to appear at the scheduled hearing before the panel. The panel found, by default, that respondent committed the following misconduct: That respondent failed to respond to his client=s numerous inquiries into the status of his matter; failed to provide his client with the Court of Appeals opinion affirming his client=s conviction; and failed to answer the request for investigation and formal complaint served by the Attorney Grievance Commission. The panel found that respondent=s conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 8.1(b); and 8.4(a) and (c).

The panel ordered that respondent=s license be suspended for 180 days. Costs were assessed in the amount of $321.47.
