1. Dismissal. 2. Effective September 21, 2000. The Grievance Administrator filed Formal Complaint 99-184-GA on November 19, 1999, charging that respondent had committed acts of professional misconduct, specifically: In a district court matter, respondent made misrepresentations to the court and to the defendant. Respondent was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.2(a); 3.3(a)(1) and (4); 4.1; 4.4; 6.5(a); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The hearing panel conducted a hearing on June 22, 2000 and filed a report concluding that professional misconduct had not been established. The panel entered an order dismissing Formal Complaint 99-184-GA. No costs were assessed against respondent.
