1. Dismissal. 2. Effective August 3, 2000. The Grievance Administrator filed Formal Complaint 99-105-GA on July 22, 1999, charging that respondent had committed acts of professional misconduct, specifically: That respondent, while still married, made two false statements that she had entered into a divorce agreement with her husband and did not correct or rectify the record when her husband was described as her Aex-husband.@ Respondent was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 3.3(a)(1) and (4); 3.3(b); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The hearing panel conducted a hearing on September 14, 1999 and filed a report concluding that professional misconduct had not been established. The panel entered an order dismissing Formal Complaint 99-105-GA. No costs were assessed against respondent. On February 8, 2000, the Grievance Administrator filed a Conditional Petition for Review. On July 12, 2000, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order and opinion affirming the dismissal.
