1) Revocation; 2) Effective August 15, 2000. 1 The respondent failed to answer the formal complaints and failed to appear before the hearing panel. Based upon respondent=s default, the hearing panel found that the misconduct alleged in the complaint had been established, to wit: Respondent violated previous orders of discipline issued by the Attorney Discipline Board by practicing law while his license was suspended and by failing to pay costs and restitution. Also, respondent solicited sexual favors from complainants. Respondent=s conduct was deemed to be in violation of MCLA 600.916; MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and (9); MCR 9.119(D) & (E); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.7(b); 3.4(c); 5.5(a); 6.5(a); 8.1(b); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The hearing panel ordered a revocation of respondent=s license. Costs were assessed in the amount of $182.44.
