1. Dismissal. 2. Effective April 14, 2000. The Grievance Administrator filed Formal Complaint 98-121-GA on July 2, 1998, charging that respondent had committed acts of professional misconduct; specifically, that respondent had charged excessive fees, in violation of MCR 9.104(2)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(b); 1.5(a); 1.5(b); 1.8(a); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The hearing panel conducted hearings on March 11, 1999 and December 13, 1999 and filed a report concluding that professional misconduct had not been established. The panel entered an order dismissing Formal Complaint 98-121-GA. No costs were assessed against respondent.
