NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 96-130-GA Issued: April 7, 2000 T. Patrick Freydl, P-13705, Birmingham, Michigan, by Tri-County Hearing Panel

1. Suspension - 60 days. 2. Effective April 1, 2000. 1 The hearing panel found that the allegations in Counts Two and Three of the formal complaint were established by preponderance of the evidence, to wit: respondent mishandled client funds by failing to deposit the funds in a trust account; commingling the

funds with his personal funds; failing to respond to inquiries concerning the funds; failing to return unearned fees and failing to respond to the Grievance Administrator's request for investigation. The panel found that respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(a); 1.5(b) and 8.4(c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 60 days to run concurrently with a three year suspension now in effect in

the matter of Grievance Administrator v T. Patrick Freydl, ADS Case 96-193-GA. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,369.71.

1 Respondent has been continuously suspended from the practice of law in Michigan since January 28, 1997. See Notices of Suspension dated April 22, 1998 and November 30,

1998.
