NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

Case No. 99-125-GA

Thomas Terrell, P-54809, Detroit, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board, Tri-County Hearing Panel #23.

1. Reprimand. 2. Effective December 15, 1999. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(f)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and was accepted by a hearing panel. Respondent entered a plea of no contest to the allegations contained in paragraphs 6(a), 6(b) and 6(e) of Count One of the Formal Complaint No. 99-125-GA, specifically that he delayed in taking action requested by the Attorney Grievance Commission and failed to cooperate in the investigation of a request for investigation in violation of MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1(b) and 8.4(a) and (c). The parties further agreed that the remaining allegations in Counts One, Two and Three of Formal Complaint 99-125-GA may be dismissed. The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $82.84
