The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Based upon respondent's conviction of one count of forgery of a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge's Signature, in violation of 18 USC 505, the parties agreed that an order of suspension should be entered.
The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be suspended for three years, retroactive to January 5, 2000. Costs were assessed in the amount of $32.01.
