Respondent admitted the following allegations of professional misconduct contained in Formal Complaint 99-74-GA, specifically: With respect to an estate matter, respondent failed to advise his client that she had no authority to give him permission to operate a vehicle belonging to the decedent; failed to disclose to the court, the special fiduciary and/or the opposing party, that he was operating the vehicle for his personal transportation and failed to obtain proper authority to do so; and failed to return the vehicle to the estate in substantially the same condition in which he received it. The panel found that respondent=s conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1; 1.2; 1.4(b); 1.15(a)-(c); and 8.4(a)-(c).

The panel ordered that respondent=s license be suspended for two years commencing December 8, 1999, to run concurrently with a previous 18 month suspension effective January 8, 1999. (Grievance Administrator v Jonathan E. Holt, Case No. 97-235-GA). Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,614.75.
