NOTICE OF REINSTATEMENT WITH CONDITIONS (Pending Appeal)

1) Reinstated; 2) Effective June 18, 1999. Petitioner was suspended from the practice of law for a period of 120 days effective August 15, 1994, and for a period of one year effective September 17, 1996. His petition for reinstatement filed in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124 was granted by Tri-County Hearing Panel #28. The panel concluded, by majority, that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with the guidelines of those court rules. On June 16, 1999, the panel issued its report and Order Granting Petition for Reinstatement with Conditions. Petitioner complied with the immediate conditions of that order on June 18, 1999, and his reinstatement to the practice of law is deemed to be effective on that date. The continuing conditions direct that petitioner attend both a professional responsibility seminar and a law practice management seminar within six months of his reinstatement. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,438.09.
The Grievance Administrator filed a petition for review seeking reversal of the order granting reinstatement. Review proceedings are scheduled for September 1999.
