1) Suspension - 1 Year; 2) Effective July 7, 1999. Based upon an order of disbarment entered July 7, 1999 by the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Attorney Discipline Board assigned this matter to a hearing panel and ordered respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered in accordance with MCR 9.104. Respondent filed no pleadings and did not appear before the panel.
The panel ordered that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for a period of one (1) year retroactive to July 7, 1999. The panel further ordered that respondent should take and pass the multi-state professional responsibility examination within two years of filing a petition for reinstatement in accordance with MCR 9.123(B). Costs were assessed in the amount of $185.02.
