NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case Nos. 99-008-GA; 99-021-FA Curtis W. Morrison, P-29984, Detroit, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #1.
1) Suspension - 180 Days; 2) Effective May 6, 1999.1 The panel found, by default, that respondent failed to answer a Request for Investigation, in violation of MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and (B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1(b); and 8.4(a) and (c). Respondent also failed to answer the Formal Complaint and failed to appear at the disciplinary hearing.
The panel ordered that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for a period of 180 days, citing Grievance Administrator v Moray, DP 143/86; 157/86 (ADB 1987).
