NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION Case No. 99-018-JC Paul C. Perovich, P-18800, Trenton, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #21.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective March 29, 1999.1 On December 10, 1998, an Order of Probation (Felony) was filed in Wayne County Circuit Court which reflects that respondent was convicted of Embezzlement by Agent/Trustee Over $100, in violation of MCL 750.174. The order placed respondent on probation for a period of two years and directed him to make restitution in the amount of $17,221.32 plus interest. On February 2, 1999, the Grievance Administrator filed a Notice of Filing of Judgment of Conviction, with a certified copy of the Order of Probation attached, seeking an order to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered pursuant to MCR 9.120(B)(3).

A hearing on the Order to Show Cause was conducted on March 29, 1999. Respondent did not appear. On April 22, 1999, the panel entered an order revoking respondent's license to practice law in Michigan for the second time, effective March 29, 1999, the date of the hearing. The panel also directed that respondent make restitution as set forth in the Order of Probation in the criminal matter. Costs were assessed in the amount of $113.08.
