NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)
Case No. 98-231-GA Jonathan S. Baker, P-45707, Fenton, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #104.
1) Reprimand; 2) Effective March 2, 1999. Respondent admitted that on August 8, 1997, he pled nolo contendere to possession of less than 50 grams of a controlled substance. He was sentenced under MCL 333.7411 and placed on probation for 24 months. The panel concluded that respondent's conduct violated MCR 9.104(1)-(5); Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(a)-(c); and the Michigan Penal Code, MCL 750.73 and 750.115.
The parties stipulated that respondent be reprimanded with conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $115.45.
