Effective February 18, 1999.
The Attorney Discipline Board issued a notice of suspension and restitution on February 24, 1999. The notice recited that the Board had increased discipline from a suspension of 30 days to a suspension of three years for respondent=s conversion of client funds and his failure to make prompt, full restitution to the complainant in violation of MCR 9.104(1) through (4) and MRPC 1.5(a) and (c) and 8.4(a) through (c). The notice also recited that respondent=s motion for reconsideration was then pending before the Board.
The Board denied reconsideration in an Order entered March 8, 1999. Respondent=s application for leave to appeal was denied by the Supreme Court on September 29, 1999.
