Notice Issued: September 24,2019

Jeffrey J. Palmer, P 6403S, Holland, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Ottawa County Hearing Panel #1.

Disbarment, Effective September 20, 2019.1

Respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.11S(F)(S), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contained respondent's admission that he was convicted of false statement on income tax return, in violation of 26 USC 7206(1), a felony; and wire fraud, a felony, in violation of 18 USC 1343, in United States of America v Jeffrey James Palmer, US District Court (WD Mich) Case No. 1: 19-CR-3S. Based on respondent's conviction and his admission in the stipulation, the hearing panel found that respondent engaged in conduct that violated a criminal law of a state or of the United States, an ordinance, or tribal law pursuant to MCR 2.61S, in violation of MCR 9.1 04(S).

In accordance with the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be disbarred from the practice of law in Michigan and pay restitution in the total amount of $311,3S0.46. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1 ,027.S3. '1t.*rvIh a , ' -" " 'W " , .; Mark A. Armitage
