NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION Case Nos. 98-80-GA; 98-95-FA Glenn R. Stevens, P-36197, Grand Blanc and Owosso, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Genesee County Hearing Panel #4.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective September 9, 1998. The panel found that the allegations of professional misconduct in both Formal Complaints were established by default, as follows: Eight counts of neglect; four counts of failure to communicate with clients; eight counts of failure to return unearned fees; one count of charging an excessive fee; ten counts of failure to appropriately notify courts and clients of his prior suspensions and continuing to hold himself out as an attorney while suspended;1. six counts of failure to answer Requests for Investigation; three counts of filing untimely answers to Requests for Investigation; one count of filing a misleading answer to a Request for Investigation; and one count of failure to answer a Formal Complaint.

Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 8.121(F); MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4), (7) and (9); MCR 9.113(A) and (B)(2); MCR 9.119(A), (B) and (E); MCL 600.916; MSA 27A.916; ; and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a)-(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4; 1.5(a) and (c); 1.15(b); 1.16(a) and (d); 3.2; 5.5(a); 8.1(b); and 8.4(a)-(c).

Based on the agreement of the parties, the panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and that he make restitution to the complainants in the total amount of $7,189.33. Costs were assessed in the amount of $380.48. 1. Respondent has been continuously suspended from the practice of law in Michigan since May 28, 1997.
