NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)
Case No. 97-299-GA John W. Brusstar, P-36920, Detroit, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #28.
1) Suspension - Sixty (60) Days; 2) Effective October 13, 1998. Respondent was appointed to represent both complainants on appeal of unrelated criminal convictions. Respondent pled no contest to allegations that he neglected the matters, in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a); 3.2; and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties stipulated that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for 60 days. Costs were assessed in the amount of $74.73.
