NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)

Case No. 97-211-GA Charles H. Noble, P-18316, Detroit, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #11.

1) Suspension - Thirty (30) Days; 2) Effective May 16, 1998. For approximately five years, respondent was on the roster of the Michigan Appellate Assigned Counsel System [MAACS] and accepted 24 assignments of post-conviction criminal matters. Respondent entered a plea of no contest to allegations that he neglected five of those matters, in violation of MCR 9.104(1)- (4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 3.2; 3.4(c); and 8.4(a) and (c).

The parties stipulated that respondent be suspended from the practice of law for thirty days, with conditions relevant to the established misconduct to apply for a period of one year following his reinstatement to the practice of law. Those conditions include being assigned a mentor and attending the State Bar of Michigan Law Office Management Course.

Costs were assessed in the amount of $183.31.
