NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)
Case No. 96-203-GA Cyril C. Hall, P-29121, Pontiac, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #70.
1) Reprimand; 2) Effective September 25, 1997. The complainant retained the respondent to represent him on charges of driving while license suspended/revoked, and paid $500 towards respondent's fees. Respondent pled no contest to allegations that he neglected the matter, in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a)- (c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4; 3.2; and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties stipulated that respondent be reprimanded, subject to the following conditions: Restitution to the complainant in this matter in the amount of $250; completion of a law office management course; and restitution to the complainant in an unrelated investigative matter in the amount of $20,900 plus interest. Costs were assessed in the amount of $324.02.
