NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 97-6-GA Joseph Cutro, P-23767, Paw Paw and Kalamazoo, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Berrien County Hearing Panel.
1) Reprimand; 2) Effective June 5, 1997. Respondent was retained to represent the defendant in two criminal matters, both at trial and on appeal. The defendant was convicted by jury verdicts in both matters. Respondent pled no contest to allegations that he neglected the matters on appeal, in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; 3.2; 3.4(c); and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties stipulated that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $40.10.
NOTE: Respondent has been an inactive member of the State Bar of Michigan since October 1, 1996.
