1) Reprimand; 2) Effective May 1, 1997. Respondent admitted that while shopping at a retail store, he placed a different bar code price tag on a package of colored pencils in order to lower the price, resulting in his arrest and subsequent guilty plea. The guilty plea was taken under advisement and ultimately dismissed by the district court.
Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of Michigan Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4(b).
Costs were assessed in the amount of $303.82.
