NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case Nos. 97-121-GA; 97-150-FA Ronald R. Derocher, P-35042, Mancelona, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Grand Traverse County Hearing Panel.
1) Reprimand; 2) Effective August 23, 1997. Respondent represented the defendant in a divorce action. Respondent pled no contest to allegations that he neglected the matter; failed to cooperate in the investigation of the Request for Investigation; and failed to timely answer the Formal Complaints.
Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(b) and (c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4; 3.2; 3.4(c); 8.1(b); and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties stipulated that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $11.27.
