NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS Case Nos. 97-56-AI; 97-125-JC John N. Low, P-33000, Niles, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Berrien County Hearing Panel.

1) Suspension - Two Years; 2) Effective April 22, 1997. On April 22, 1997, respondent entered a plea of guilty in the State of Indiana St. Joseph County Superior Court to one count of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated Resulting in Death, a Class C Felony. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent was automatically suspended from the practice of law in Michigan effective April 22, 1997, the date of the felony conviction. Upon the filing of a certified copy of the Judgment of Conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered.

Following the show cause hearing, the panel entered an order suspending respondent from the practice of law in Michigan for a period of two years retroactive to April 22, 1997. The panel further ordered that the suspension be conditioned on respondent's full compliance with the Terms of Probation entered by the St. Joseph County Adult Probation Department on June 16, 1997, and that any probation violation shall also be deemed to be a violation of the panel's order.

Costs were assessed in the amount of $944.35.
