NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS Case No. 95-175-GA William F. Klintworth, P-30993, Traverse City, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board affirming Grand Traverse County Hearing Panel's Order of Suspension and Modifying Conditions.
1) Suspension - Sixty (60) Days; 2) Effective April 19, 1997. The panel found that respondent kissed a female divorce client, without permission, during a business meeting, in violation of MCR 9.104 and Michigan Rule of Professional Conduct 6.5(a). The panel ordered a sixty-day suspension with conditions relevant to the established misconduct. In determining the appropriate discipline in the instant matter, the panel considered respondent's prior discipline (two reprimands and one suspension).
The respondent and the Grievance Administrator each filed a petition for review. In an order entered March 28, 1997 (amended March 31, 1997), the Attorney Discipline Board affirmed the sixty-day suspension and added a condition requiring respondent to attend the three-part State Bar of Michigan Law Office Management Course.
Costs were assessed in the total amount of $844.04.
