1) Reprimand; 2) Effective April 5, 1996. Respondent received a speeding ticket and demanded a formal hearing on the ticket. After discussing the matter with the prosecutor, he agreed to admit responsibility and pay the standard fine, obviating the need for a formal hearing. Respondent was given possession of the court file for presentation to the court cashier. The panel found that respondent improperly marked the file and stated to the clerk that he was found not responsible for the offense. Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 3.3(a)(1)and(4) and 8.4(a)-(c). Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,132.21.
