NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION Case Nos. 96-13-GA; 96-33-GA Andrew D. Morgan, P-46245, Grand Rapids, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Kent County Hearing Panel #2.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective March 22, 1996. The panel found that the allegations of professional misconduct contained in the thirty-six (36) count Formal Complaint 96-13-GA were established by default. Those allegations include multiple counts of neglect; failure to refund unearned fees; failure to release client files upon demand; abandonment of his law practice; and failure to answer Requests for Investigation. Respondent also failed to answer the Formal Complaints and failed to appear at the disciplinary hearing.

Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4)and(7); MCR 9.113(A)and(B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a); 1.5(a); 1.15(b); 1.16(d); 3.2; 3.3(a)(1)and(4); 3.4(c); 8.1(b) and 8.4(a)-(c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked effective March 22, 1996, the date of the disciplinary hearing, and that he make restitution to eight of the complainants in the total amount of $1,547. Costs were assessed in the amount of $466.01.
