NOTICE OF REPRIMAND AND PROBATION (By Consent)
Case No. 95-116-GA David P. Morreale, P-31647, St. Clair Shores, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #29.
1) Reprimand and Probation one (1) year; 2) Effective January 9, 1996. Respondent was retained to represent a client in a workers' compensation matter. Following the issuance of an adverse decision by the administrative law judge, respondent filed an appeal on his client's behalf to the Workers' Compensation Appellate Commission. Respondent pled no contest to allegations that he neglected the appeal, in violation of 1.1(a)-(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4; 3.2; and 8.4(a)and(c).
The parties stipulated that respondent be reprimanded and placed on probation for one year. Costs were assessed in the amount of $60.48.
