Case No. 95-95-GA Arthur A. Bowman, Jr., P-37206, Detroit, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #14.
1) Reprimand; 2) Effective January 3, 1996. Respondent pled nolo contendere to violating his duty to treat a client with courtesy and respect and to take care to avoid treating such a person discourteously or disrespectfully because of the person's gender. Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 6.5(a) and 8.4(a)and(c). Costs were assessed in the amount of $223.00.
