NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)
Case No. 95-156-GA Rene A. Cooper, P-30566, Detroit, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #71.
1) Suspension - 180 days; 2) Effective January 1, 1996. Respondent pled no contest to allegations in a Formal Complaint based upon his March 13, 1995 no contest plea to charges of Indecent Exposure and Resisting Arrest, both civil ordinance violations, in a matter entitled People v Rene Albert Cooper, 32A District Court, Case No. 94-55397-CM. Respondent's conduct constitutes professional misconduct in violation of MCR 9.104(1)- (4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(a)-(c).
The parties stipulated that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for 180 days commencing January 1, 1996. Costs were assessed in the amount of $231.55.
