NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)
Case No. 95-68-GA Mark L. Brown, P-39562, Detroit, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #24.
1) Suspension - thirty (30) days; 2) Effective December 16, 1995. Respondent admitted that he failed to keep in adequate communication with a divorce client or to keep her informed of the status of her matter, and failed to answer three Requests for Investigation. Respondent's conduct was admitted to be in violation of MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4); MCR 9.113(A)and(B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; 1.4; 3.2; 8.1(b); and 8.4(a)and(c).
The parties stipulated that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for thirty days effective December 16, 1995. Costs were assessed in the amount of $80.04.
