NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION (By Consent)

Case No. 95-17-GA Michael B. Batchelor, P-38765, Detroit, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #11.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective November 30, 1995. Respondent pled no contest to allegations that he engaged in intimidating, harassing, hostile and offensive conduct of a non- consensual sexual nature towards three female clients; neglected a personal injury matter; neglected a defamation suit; and knowingly made a false statement to a client.

Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a)and(b); 3.2; 6.5; and 8.4(a)-(c); and Canons 1, 6 and 7 of the then-applicable Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1),(3)-(6); DR 6-101(A)(3); and DR 7-101(A)(1)-(3).

The parties stipulated that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and that he make restitution to three former clients in the total amount of $2,350. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,101.83.
