1) Suspension - thirty (30) days; 2) Effective October 26, 1995. The panel found that respondent appeared in court while in an intoxicated state to consummate a plea bargain by entering a plea of guilty on behalf of his client to impaired driving, the client having been originally charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquors, in violation of MCR 9.104(1) and(2).
The panel ordered that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for thirty days. Costs were assessed in the amount of $747.94.
