1) Suspension - thirty (30) days; 2) Effective September 6, 1995. Respondent was the attorney of record for the plaintiff in a civil matter at the time he was suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for 180 days. (Case No. ADB 232-88, effective June 1, 1990.)
Respondent pled no contest to allegations that he held himself out as an attorney in that matter while suspended from the practice of law, in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4)and(9); MCR 9.119; MCL 600.916; MSA 27A.916; and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 5.5(a); and 8.4(a)-(c).
Costs were assessed in the amount of $316.96. NOTE: Respondent has been suspended from the practice of law in Michigan continuously since December 14, 1994.
