NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Case No. 94-72-GA Samuel Bell, P-10655, Farmington Hills, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #56.

1) Suspension - 180 days; 2) Effective August 18, 1995. Respondent was retained to pursue a breach of fiduciary duty against an investment firm. He admitted that he neglected the matter; failed to keep his client adequately informed; and made false statements to his client.

Respondent's conduct was admitted to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; 1.4; 3.2; and 8.4(a)-(c); and Canons 1, 6 and 7 of the then- applicable Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1),(5) and(6); DR 6-101(A)(3); and DR 7-101(A)(1)-(3).

Costs were assessed in the amount of $42.50. NOTE: Respondent has been suspended from the practice of law in Michigan continuously since November 6, 1993.
