1) Revocation; 2) Effective August 17, 1995. Respondent was appointed successor conservator of a minor's estate. The panel found, by default, that respondent neglected the estate; knowingly made false statements in pleadings filed with the probate court; misappropriated $4,270 in estate funds; knowingly made false statements in his answer to the Request for Investigation and subsequent correspondence with the Attorney Grievance Commission; failed to cooperate with the AGC's investigation; and failed to answer the Formal Complaints. Respondent also failed to appear at the disciplinary hearing.

Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4),(6)and(7); MCR 9.113(A); Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; 1.4; 1.15(a)and(b); 1.16(d); 3.2; 3.3(a)(1); 3.4(c); 8.1(a)and(b); and 8.4(a)-(c); and Canons 1, 6, 7 and 9 of the then-applicable Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1),(3)-(6); DR 6-101(A)(3); DR 7-101(A) (1)-(3); DR 7-102(A)(3),(5)and(8); DR 9-102(A)(1)and(2); and DR 9- 102(B)(3)and(4).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be revoked and that he make restitution to the complainant in the amount of $4,270 plus interest. Costs were assessed in the amount of $543.96.

Respondent filed a petition for review. On October 20, 1995, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an Order Dismissing Petition for Review for respondent's failure to file a brief in support of the petition for review.
