NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case No. 93-141-GA William A. Ortman, P-18540, Farmington Hills, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #22.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective June 17, 1995. The panel found, by a preponderance of the evidence, that respondent filed vexatious pleadings in the Oakland County Circuit Court, the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court, for no other purpose than to harass and expose his opposition to needless costs of litigation. The panel further found that respondent could not have had a reasonable belief that his pleadings in those tribunals had merit. Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 3.1 and 8.4(a)and(c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be revoked effective June 17, 1995, to run concurrent with his prior revocation issued in Case No. 93-135-GA.* Costs were assessed in the amount of $3,823.50.

*The Order of Revocation issued in Case No. 93-135-GA is currently on appeal before the Attorney Discipline Board. Oral arguments were heard on September 14, 1995.
