NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case No. 95-148-JC Craig B. Sokolow, P-30060, Minersville and Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania (formerly of Plymouth, Michigan).

1) Revocation; 2) Effective April 11, 1995. On April 11, 1995, respondent was convicted in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, by jury verdict, of 106 counts of Mail Fraud--Aiding and Abetting in violation of 18 USC 1341 and 2, one count of Mail Fraud--Aiding and Abetting in violation of 18 USC 1351 and 2, and seventeen counts of Engaging in Monetary Transactions in Property Derived from Specified Unlawful Activity--Aiding and Abetting in violation of 18 USC 1957 and 2.

In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent was suspended automatically from the practice of law in Michigan effective April 11, 1995, the date of the felony conviction. Upon the filing of the judgment of conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing the respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. Respondent did not appear at the disciplinary hearing or otherwise respond to the Order to Show Cause. On November 2, 1995, the panel entered an order revoking respondent's license to practice law in Michigan effective April 11, 1995, the effective date of the automatic interim suspension. Costs were assessed in the amount of $104.63.
