NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION Case Nos. 94-181-GA; 94-203-FA; 94-209-GA David A. Pandilidis, P-39964, Lansing, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Livingston County Hearing Panel.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective February 25, 1995. Respondent failed to answer the Formal Complaints and failed to appear at the hearing held in Howell on January 12, 1995. Respondent's defaults were entered, and the panel determined that the default established the allegations of the Formal Complaints.

The panel found, by default, that respondent neglected numerous client matters, including a divorce action, a medical malpractice action, prisoner's rights action and probate litigation, sixty-six appointed criminal appeal matters, and a department of labor complaint; failed to adequately communicate with clients; failed to refund unearned fees; knowingly made a false statement in answer to a Request for Investigation; failed to cooperate with an AGC investigation; knowingly made false representations to a client; failed to return client documents; failed to release a client's file; failed to answer two Requests for Investigation; and failed to answer the Formal Complaints.

Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4),(6)and(7); MCR 9.113(A)and(B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a)-(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4; 1.5(a); 1.15(b); 1.16(a)and(d); 3.2; 3.4(c); 8.1(b); and 8.4(a)-(c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and that he make restitution to three clients in the total amount of $3,000.00. Costs were assessed in the amount of $349.68.
