NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS Case No. 94-33-GA Lawrence E. Schultz, P-20097, Southfield, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #71.

1) Reprimand; 2) Effective January 4, 1995. Respondent was retained to represent the plaintiff/wife in a divorce action and filed an action on her behalf. The panel found that respondent failed to prosecute the action, causing it to be dismissed for lack of progress. Respondent filed a second divorce action on his client's behalf. The panel found that respondent failed to prosecute the second divorce action, causing it to be dismissed. Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; and 3.2.

The panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded with conditions. Those conditions include securing a monitor for his law practice; implementing a double entry docket system and a telephone log system; and continuing legal education in law office management.

Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,248.13.
