1) Reprimand; 2) Effective November 3, 1994. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by a hearing panel in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The respondent offered his plea of nolo contendere to the charge that he was retained to represent a client in a personal injury action but failed to take appropriate action to obtain proper service of process, failed to appear at status conferences in January and May 1992 and failed to communicate adequately with his client. Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a-c), 1.3, 1.4, 3.2 and 8.4(a,c). Costs were assessed in the amount of $53.25.
