REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent) Case No. 94-73-GA

Frederick J Thompson, P 27992, Clinton Township, Michigan by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #106.

1) Reprimand; 2) Effective October 26, 1994. The Grievance Administrator and the respondent submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by a hearing panel in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The respondent offered his plea of no contest to the charge in the formal complaint that he filed an annual account in a decedent's estate in which he intentionally failed to list the attorney fees which had been paid to him from the assets of the estate. Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4) and the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 3.3(a)(1) and 8.4(a-c).

In accordance with the conditions contained in the stipulation, the respondent was ordered to comply with any orders of the probate court concerning his claim for fees and to take necessary action to complete the administration of the estate. Costs were assessed in the amount of $172.36.
