NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case No. 92-107-GA James McCauley Seitz, P-23654, Monroe, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #29.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective September 10, 1994. Respondent, a judge of the Monroe County Probate Court, was charged with misconduct over a two and one-half (22) year period in violation of the Standards of Judicial Conduct as set forth in MCR 9.205 and the Code of Judicial Conduct. The Judicial Tenure Commission adopted the Master's Report finding that the respondent engaged in acts demonstrating a pattern of gross judicial misconduct, and recommended that the respondent be removed from office and barred from ever holding judicial office. On February 2, 1993, the Michigan Supreme Court affirmed the decision of the Judicial Tenure Commission.

The Grievance Administrator filed a Formal Complaint based on the Judicial Tenure Commission proceedings, in accordance with MCR 9.116. The hearing panel found that the evidence established professional misconduct in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(a)and(c). The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked.

Costs were assessed in the amount of $202.20.
