NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 93-93-GA Robert L. Wiggins, Jr., P-32359, Bingham Farms, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #81.
1) Reprimand; 2) Effective July 21, 1994. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission.
Respondent pled no contest to charges that he filed two lawsuits, one against an appliance store on behalf of himself and one against an automobile dealership on behalf of his wife, which were not supported by fact or law and for which there was no basis for doing so that was not frivolous.
Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.2(a),(c)and(d); 1.16(a); 3.1; 3.3(a)(1)and(2); 3.4(c); and 8.4(a)-(c).
Costs were assessed in the amount of $230.50.
