NOTICE OF SUSPENSION AND PROBATION (By Consent)
Case No. 94-138-JC David B. Frey, P-39168, Willis, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Washtenaw County Hearing Panel #2.
1) Suspension - 180 days; 2) Effective September 20, 1994.
3) Probation - two (2) years; 4) Effective upon reinstatement.
The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission.
Respondent was convicted in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, by nolo contendere plea, of Falsification of Financial Records Required to be Kept by Labor Union, in violation of 29 USC 439(c), a misdemeanor.
The parties stipulated that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for 180 days, retroactive to September 20, 1994, and be placed on probation for two years upon his reinstatement to the practice of law.
Costs were assessed in the amount of $102.52.
